Malicious mobile number?
HELP!! I have a friend at work who has a malicious mobile number that has been sending her nasty texts and pranking her number with calls. It is worrying her sick. I haven’t a clue who it is although I do know it is a Vodafone mobile after trawling through the internet. Vodafone won’t give details because of Data protection. Is there any way I can find out who it is other than contacting the police for her? I have checked the net for reverse number search but all the sites want payment up front for the search – some are £150! I am sorry if it sounds stupid but I have no faith in the police anymore – I really want to find out who is sending her these nasty messages and spoofing her phone while she is at work. If I don’t get any joy then the police will have to be the next step but I am hoping somebody out there might be able to help us? Thankyou.
Yup, call your cell phone provider, and ask them to block that number. It won’t cost you a thing, and it’s worth it to save yourself from the aggravation.
There probably isn’t a way to find out who it is without paying, as far as online stuff goes. IF someone calls 3x or more during a day with harrassing phone calls, you can file a report with the police, and they will do their part to try to figure out who the culprit is, so they or you can press charges against them.
